I realized at a young age that I loved working on cars, especially wrecked ones. In high school I had the opportunity to help my best friend work on his hot rod. We took care of the body, the interior and the motor/drive train. After high school, I went to the University of Georgia and received my degree in computer science. Even though I worked as a software engineer, I never lost my love of automobiles. I would work on friends and my car and would keep grease under my finger nails.

I retired after 30 years in the computer industry,. Because of my love of teaching I was a substitute teacher for three years.  I realized that I liked teaching math and how to do auto collision repair. When a position in the Auto Collision Repair Department came open, I decided to try teaching full time. I have enjoyed it very much.

The auto collision industry is a very demanding and rewarding industry. Auto collision repair will always be in demand. The collision industry is in need of qualified technicians; with my love of math, my goal is to teach students quality math skills to give students the tools to repair modern day vehicles to today’s high tech standards. I enjoy working with young adults and teaching them collision repair.

My wife, Christi, and I have been married for forty years. We have one daughter and two sons and numerous foster children. We have one grandson and one granddaughter.
